Pakistan is a paradise for mountains trekkers, most of the trekking routes lay in the northern mountains of The Karakorams, the Himalayas, Hindukush and Pamir. For most of the treks, The Ministry of Tourism, Government of Pakistan, has defined trekking as walking below 6500 meters. It has designated three Zones for trekking; open, restricted and closed. Foreigners may trek anywhere in open zone without a permit or services of a licensed mountain guide. For trekking in restricted zone, foreigners must pay the prescribed fee per person per trek to obtain a trekking permit from the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Pakistan. Its also requires a hire a licensed mountain guide; buy a personal accident insurance policy for the guide and the porters and to attend mandatory briefing and de-briefing at the Ministry of Tourism, and the beginning and the end of the trekking trip. The tourist season is from April to October in the mountains areas. Pakistan offer a trekking blessed with some of the worlds nearly all rugged and splendid Himalayan scenery. Four of the world’s greatest mountain ranges, there almost 37 of the world’s 100 highest peaks, including K-2 (8611 second in the world), are located in these mountains. Five of these peaks are over 8000 meters and about 100 over 7000 meters. Trekking in the Gligit Baltsitan, in no other part of the world can be found such a complex of Himalayan ranges glaciers, lush valleys and mountain folk. Each range is daunting in itself and worthy of exploration. Together, they stand for the most interesting and exciting mountain destinations to be found anywhere in the world! The high mountain regions of Gligit Baltsitan are very different in spirit to the neighboring Himalayas. Pakistan attracts thousands of tourists every year and most of them come only to visit the Gligit Baltsitan. This region is supposed to be one of the most rugged, isolated places on earth. This sole blend within this mountainous landscape makes Gligit Baltsitan is a paradise for Mountaineers, Trekkers, and adventure lovers. Here most of the mountains are simply huge monoliths of granite which raise abruptly and vertically for thousands of meters out of many a valley floor; creating awe-inspiring and inimitable mountain vistas. There is little arable land left for the tiny population that inhabits this barren but beautiful wilderness therefore, wherever possible. Every inch of arable land is carefully terraced and tended. Karakorum Experience Pakistan ensures that for trekker’s mountaineers for adventure package trip in Pakistan with wonderful life time experience. Karakorum Experience Pakistan promises and offers you all the help to make your journey to Pakistan an exciting and memorable affair, we have wild trekking variety.

Biafo Hisper Trek
Biafo Glacier (60 km. long) and Hispar Glacier (61 km. long) meet at the 5151 m. Hispar Pass to form one of the longest glacial systems outside the polar regions. This highway of ice connects two ancient mountain kingdoms; Hunza in the west with Baltistan in the east.In olden times warriors from Hunza would use this natural pathway to invade the peoples of Askolie in Baltistan. Later, the well known sport of "Polo," a Balti word meaning ball, served as a more positive outlet for aggression between these two kingdoms and matches were played on stretches of level ground in this locality.
Because the Biafo-Hispar region is very remote it serves as the last stronghold for many animals; including Himalayan bear, ibex, markhor and the snow leopard. H.W. Tilman, an English adventurer, claimed he saw footprints of the Yeti during his trek there in 1937.
At the base of Hispar Pass on its eastern flank rests Snow Lake, a basin of ice (16 km. wide) surrounded by granite pinnacles yet to be climbed. Glaciologists have conducted various experiments on the lake and have found the ice to be approximately 1.6 km. deep. Some go as far as to say that Snow Lake represents the last of the original ice cap in the earth's temperate zones.
The first segment of the journey from Islamabad to Askolie is identical to that of the K-2 Trek (see enclosed). We begin our walk from Askolie towards K-2 then shortly head west onto the Biafo Glacier. After trekking three to four days we arrive at Baintha Campsite located on an ablation valley below the granite peaks of the Ogre (7813 m.).
The walk takes us past glistening clear lakes, bright spots of green grass, glorious wild flowers and the ever present vertical snow covered peaks hanging above to complete this dazzling scene. The next two days take us over the white covered Biafo Glacier to Snow Lake. We then make the exhilarating walk up to Hispar Pass continuously overwhelmed by the incredible views.
Having reached the highest point of our journey atop Hispar Pass (5151 m.) we begin the descent into Hunza; a land where the language, culture and ethnic background is vastly different than that of Baltistan. We follow the Hispar Glacier past massive mountains such as Kanjut Sar (7760 m.) and Disteghil Sar (7885 m.) reaching the end of the glacier in four to five days.
The green oasis of Hispar Village awaits us signaling only another dayÍs walk before a jeep transports us to Karimabad, Hunza. First sight of the lush valley of Hunza is breathtaking and in some ways makes up for the nostalgia one feels after completing a long walk. We spend one night in Karimabad then we are off to Gilgit by way of the KKH. Depending on weather conditions we then fly or drive back to Islamabad.

Great Karakoram Traverse Trek
A combination of our established Gondogoro La, K2 and Snow Lake treks, this 5-week expedition must rank as the ultimate Karakoram challenge which starts from the south-east at Hushe and ends in Nagar/Hunza to the north-west. Starting out from the Hushe Valley, we cross the Gondogoro pass (5,850m) into Concordia, where we allow time to visit K2 Base camp before set ting off down the Baltoro Glacier to the snout of the Biafo Glacier. From where we follow the excellent Snow Lake route over the Hispar La (5151 M) into Nagar/Hunza. This is a sustained and strenuous high level adventure in a remote location, with more of the feeling and logistics of an expedition than a trek. The trek is tough though but the reward is greater.

Eight Thousand Base Camps Trek
other 4 in Karakorams, clustered around Concordia, the famous place on Baltoro Glacier. Concordia trek is one of the most demanding but rewarding treks in the world. Serving as the basic point for the 4 giants of Karakorams i.e. Gasherbrum II ( 8035m ), Broad Peak ( 8047m ) and Hidden Peak or Gasherbrum I ( 8068m ) dominated by the king of the mountains, K-2 ( 8611m ), Concordia is the junction of Baltoro and Godwin Austin Glaciers with several other tributaries. We drive from Skardu to Askole, the last permanent village at the head of jeep road and visit base camp of all 4 eight thousanders in days to follow. Completing the trek at Hushe across the Ghondoghoro Pass (5,750m), we drive to Gilgit and go onwards to one of the most scenic places, Fairy Meadows, which offers a superb view of Nanga Parbat (8125m), the ninth highest in the world. After visiting Concordia and crossing Ghondoghoro La, a trek to base camp of Nanga Parbat is a soft adventure. A night in tents or in log cabins at Fairy Meadows is a wonderful experience before returning to the busting towns with daily busy routine life. This is an adventure beyond your imagination.

Baltoro, Gondogoro and K7 BC Trek
The opening of the 5450m high Gondogoro La adds a new dimension to the magnificent K2 Trek, making it possible to return via the beautiful Hushe Valley.
Given a little luck with weather the view from the Gondogoro La pass is just incomparable, anywhere in the world. From no other place on earth can one see such incredible views of K2 (8611m) the second highest peak in the world, and world's most beautiful high pyramid, Broad Peak (8048m), Gasherbrums I to 6, Golden Throne (7240m), Chogolisa (7665m), and the entire upper Baltoro Massif.
This trek requires a good degree of physical fitness, as the variable weather conditions make the crossing of pass quite challenging, but more rewarding too. It is recommended that the trek may be started from, Askole as group can reach up to Concordia being able to see major Baltoro Peaks and, return the same route in case of extreme snow conditions and unkind weather situations. We also recommend that the members should take crampons and ice axe.

Shimshal Trek
If you are interested in seeing the mighty Karakorams from the north, then you must visit Shimshal. This last remnant of true Hunza culture exists near Pakistan's Pamir east of the town of Passu in upper Hunza valley. Our walk begins at Dut and we reach the remote village of Shimshal in about three days of trekking. At each step we are amazed how a path has been carved in this deep and narrow ravine on the way to Shimshal. The reason why Shimshal was located in such an out-of-the-way place is because this is where the Mir (ruler) of Hunza used to send his people who were found guilty of crimes and also those who he just did not like!Shimshalis now are a proud and hardy folk. Their hospitality is legendary and the natural beauty that they inhabit makes us feel that perhaps the Mir sentenced them to heaven, not hell!
Our trek now veers northwards from Shimshal and we enter the lovely and remote Ghujerab valley. Here we cross the Boesam Pass and the Chapchingiol Pass to reach the trail head at Kuksel. This is where we meet the KKH and our jeeps which will transport us back to Hunza.
The trek from Shimshal to Kuksel takes us into a very remote area and gives us a chance to see some of the endangered wildlife in the Khunjerab National Park. If we are lucky we may be able to observe Markhor, Ibex, Marco polo, Sheep and even the elusive magnificent Snow Leopard. This is ideal high Pamir meadow country strewn with thousands of colorful flowers. This is a tough trek and ropes are provided for various river crossings and as aid at other steep places.

Masherbrum, Gondogoro Base Camp & K7 Trek
Masherbrum Base Camp trek is one of our most exciting walking journeys! And it is one of the most isolated treks of Pakistan in Karakoram. The trek goes through Hushe Valley in Baltistan. It is an easy trek even for those who do not have any trekking experience but still intend to have a marvelous trekking experience of mighty Karakoram. After exploring Masherbrum Base Camp we continue our walk towards Gondogoro Base Camp by halting traditional camps of Schayechu, Dalchampa and then to Khuispan the base of Gondogoro Peak 5,860m. If you have received enough technical climbing training attempting this peak is great experience. The trek ends again at the beautiful Hushe Valley. The trek does not require any technical experience.

Nanga Parbat Mazeno Pass Trek
At Gurikot, about ten kilometers south of Astor, a jeep road follows the fertile, wooded Khirirn Valley for 40 kilometers to the army post at Chilim and continues across the Deosai Plateau to Skardu. The best-known treks from Astor lead west and southwest, to the east and south sides of Nanga Parbat. This huge mountain is not a single peak but a series of ridges culminating in an ice crest 8,125 meters high-ranked ninth highest in the world and second in Pakistan after K2. The name Nanga Parbat means 'naked mountain', so called because some of its slopes are so steep that they are bare of snow or vegetation.
Early disasters on Nanga Parbat gave it the nick-name Killer Mountain or mangeur d'homme. Twelve climbers and 18 Sherpa had died there since 1937. The monster was finally conquered in 1953 (one month after the ascent of Everest) by a joint Austrian-German expedition; Hermann BuhI made the final ascent in a strenuous forty one hour solo ordeal without oxygen. Today's death score is 47-far fewer than have lost their lives on Everest.

Around Nanga Parbat Trek & Hunza Tour
Nanga Parbat (8125m) is one of the most beautiful mountains in the world. It has three main faces known as Rupal,
Diamir and Raikot, which are totally different in appearance and shape and their routes start from different valleys.
For Rupal Face, we start from Gilgit or KKH to Tarashing, a green alpine village at the head of jeep trek. It takes another two days to arrive at Rupal base camp.
For Diamer base camp the trek is the most lengthy as it needs three days to reach and the last is Raikot, where we go up to Raikot Bridge on KKH to switch over to local jeeps for Jail, a small place in Tato Valley at the foot of Fairy Meadows.
This program includes a visit to all three faces crossing high passes en route. This program can be shortened according to available time, as we have given different options to finish trekking at several points.

Within just 2 weeks, we do the gentle trek (two different routes) to the base camp of Nanga Parbat (8125m. /26650ft), the world's ninth highest peak and 2nd highest in the Himalayan range of Pakistan. After driving from Islamabad to Chilas on the amazing Karakoram Highway, we transfer by 4x4 jeeps to the villages of Tato or Tarashing and make the short walk to our next camp. Camping beneath Nanga Parbat “The sleeping beauty” is an unforgettable experience. We have time to trek to the mountains base camp and nearby viewpoints. The second half of our journey is based around the picturesque old Hunza capital of Karimabad, where our selection of day hikes and excursions includes an amazing variety of sights, such as the Utar Icefall and the bustling bazaar at Gilgit.
The trekking that we will be undertaking on these trips is all on good trails. Walking up to Fairy Meadows is very straightforward, but the optional day hike up to Nanga Parbat base camp does involve a relatively long day of trekking. Similarly, there is another longish trekking day on our hike above Karimabad to the meadows below Ultar. This is a steep climb and will provide the most challenging day's walk of the trip. Generally, however, this is not a sustained trek and we do have lots of time to rest and to enjoy the scenery between trekking days.
